I think this kitty pretty well mirrors my confusion at this state of affairs.

Sorry for the absence of late, all! We’ve been super busy around here, largely due to the little bundle of joy pictured above. We found this kitten in the middle of the road a few nights ago on our way home, and after a couple days of contacting shelters and inquiring around the neighborhood we [...] Nasheliska over on YouTube just posted this video of her kitten playing in the sink.
